"Nuts", aka Squirrel # 1 was released from captivity at 1:00 PM today after being held behind (wire) bars for several hours in the attic of a house located in Davenport, Iowa. The house is reportedly owned by Natalie N. Nuts will reside in Rock Island, Illinois for the rest of his life unless he is a very clever squirrel or a very strong swimmer. He was last seen hauling ass toward Moline. A second accomplice, Peanut-Butter-on-a-Corncob, aka Squirrel # 2, is expected to be taken into custody within 24 hours.
