So this week I had to concentrate on getting my utilities on and approved by the appraiser. We didn't want the plumbing on to begin with since we are replacing all the pipes but it had to be on in order to get the loan. We got the ancient furnace running yesterday-had to replace a small wire and clean some stuff out of there. The gas valve was even frozen! Today, returning to a nice toasty home, the water company came and hooked up the meter and got the water on. That went fine with a few small glitches-but now we are good to go! I checked with my loan officer to make sure we are on track and we are! There shouldn't be any more hurdles that come up. Now, if only I can figure out this kitchen floor plan design....
