When the cat's away, the mice will play...

The lights above the sink are hot. Dad also installed an under cabinet light above the sink...

Last light under the cabinet by my stove and fridge. It was hooked up to a switch so it operates differently than the others but gets the job done. Below is the baseboard in the guest room that was stripped by mom using the heat gun over the weekend.

My choices that I have narrowed the green paint swatches down to...

Dad wants to close in the staircase in the attic, so he put up wall studs last week. By having my staircase closed in, the cold air will stay up there, rather than travel downstairs and into my hallway. The attic floor is also finished and I have moved some of my Christmas decorations up there for storage.

Check out the new lights that were installed; two above lights and then one for the staircase.

This is how many green paint swatches I have started off with.

While I was away in Chicago this weekend, my parents were hard at work. They are the best!! I did do some stripping with the heat gun before I left but not nearly as much as my mother has done!

ALL of my kitchen lights are completed and hot. I am set for any kind of lighting needs I may have in the future :)

The attic sure is coming along and I am happy to start using it as storage. On the squirrel note, we have only caught the one that was captured a few weeks ago. We hope that is the last of them FOREVER!!!
