This is my register in my bedroom--it has been stripped of the ugly blue paint it had on it from previous owner, wire wheeled, and painted. Nice and shiny! The only thing left in my bedroom is quarter round!
The bathroom register was put in along with baseboard, quarter round, and my new doorstop. The door stop had to be a floor one because the wall type didn't work because of the towel bar on that wall. I don't know if you can tell, but the left baseboard is different than the one straight ahead because they don't make that kind anymore. I think it is minor though.
I am going to try to replace this picture since it came out so dark-but it is my kitchen window trim all in!
This is my tree stump in the front yard that I am trying to disintegrate with chemicals and then ignite it in a couple of weeks :) Should have seen me out there with the drill!
The outside door from my driveway and wood framing put up this past weekend.
The bricks that were removed from the chimney on the roof...
Inside the attic and the part of the chimney that will be disappearing too. We are taking this down because it has no value to the house-I don't have a fireplace-and it may cause damage in the future.
This picture is of the plywood "band-aid" in/on my roof to keep it dry in there!
Lastly, the scaffolding to get up to the roof. So tall, it made my mother nervous seeing the guys up on it.
Thank you Terry, Nate, and dad for taking apart the chimney and braving the heat last weekend. I really appreciate it and glad my dad didn't have to do it alone. Thanks mom for doing my yard work and weeding-it sure looks fabulous and helps the curb appeal ;)
