Check out the garland and wreath mom bought me for the holidays! Jazzes the place up a bit :)
This is the motion light that has been installed on the side of my house for when I drive up at night. Safety first!
Nate has been in charge of burning the stump in front; this was the second time he burnt it I think. It is slowly going away.
We created this shelf with hooks from a piece of crown molding we removed above the door leading to the driveway. Since that part is in the basement, which is unfinished, I said I didn't care to put it back above the door.
Painting the purple room's door that was "harvested" from the doorway into the kitchen from the living room.
Mom touched up my ceiling, along with many other paint touch ups.
One touch up in the kitchen, among many on the walls and windows.
Since Nate's picture is in my house, he kept telling my parents that it was not hung the correct way; so it was changed and a shelf put underneath it!
Finished laundry chute. Even caulked around the edges--dad did a lot of caulking this past weekend! The pictures below show my new porch lights and the ceiling that was hung and mudded by dad.
The stairs are finished!!!
So an obvious THANK YOU is in order for mom, dad, and Nate. I had to work all weekend for the holiday weekend and couldn't pitch in at all. They did so much and we are all getting ready for me to have my house warming party. It was fun coming home after work each day and see how much was accomplished. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I am thankful to have such a wonderful (and dedicated) family and a knowledgeable dad who CAN DO (and fix) ANYTHING!
