goodbye tree....HELLLLLLO new roof!

Above pic of the attic door painted. Now, just need to sand and paint the door jamb. Check out the vinyl siding on the front porch and the steps painted to match the deck. The siding is pretty dang close to the rest of the house color. (you can't notice it unless you are comparing it closely) Below picture of the pine tree that is no longer in my front yard! Part of it was dead and it leaned near my house, so it would have caused me trouble in the future! I will be glad to not pick up pine needles/branches before I mow now :) PS-I used Mason Tree Service in Davenport. He did a great job and would recommend him to anybody. Very reasonable and negotiable! I present the new roof below! Jansen and White did it in a few days. They had to tear off three layers of shingles and put new lumber on. I essentially had holes in my attic ceiling. It was a very messy process during and after, but they cleaned up pretty well. Above picture of a new PVC pipe in my attic that was installed and replaced the last of the lead pipe that was once in my kitchen. This was done before the roof since it goes through the roof and the roofers sealed it from the top. Below, is a sample of how messy my attic was after shingling. I put plastic over most of the floor in the attic and moved my storage stuff in my guest bedroom. By using the plastic drop cloths, it was less mess by just cleaning up the plastic but still have to sweep & vacuum it all up!
