More labor! A couple weeks ago, Nate, dad, mom, and I built the porch floor. We ran out of the wood and had to get more, but still worked out! We then stained it a thick color that nearly looks like paint. Dad tried to get it matched to the siding.
Last week, before we left out of town, we built the porch steps. They are wide steps and inviting. The guy down the street (renovating a duplex to rent out) stopped over and was jealous of my big steps.
This weekend, the railing will be put up and after that, the siding most likely. It is all coming together. It will mostly be done in time for trick or treating, however, I won't be around to hand out candy :( There's always next year!
