There is not a lot to show for this weekend since dad was only working on one task--getting my laundry area hooked up. He got the plumbing and electrical ready to go and I helped him hang drywall. A big thanks to Scott Ryder, who let us borrow his crimping tool to finish the plumbing.
I bought a new dryer for a couple of reasons. Awhile back, I was given a washer and dryer for a reasonable price from my friend Tiffanie. She let me know the dryer did not put out a lot of heat, so it takes awhile for the clothes to dry. I knew I would have to buy a part to fix that. Also, it was electric, and we decided to get a gas dryer.
Instead of investing in a part to fix that dryer, I bought a basic one from Lowe's. I have found that Lowe's is one of my favorite places to shop for appliances because they deliver for free and price match competitors.
Other purchases this weekend include a small houseplant, living room clock, and a few other various items to jazz up the home!
